Team Draken Giants management today decided to send the team on a 10 day vacation/training/team building camp to Columbia.
In the mornings the team will do some light training on the various hills & climbs surrounding the ski resort. The rest of the day is set aside to relax while the injured team members will receive intense physio to hopefully recover faster. In the evenings the team will do some team building with world renowned French relationship expert, Pierre L'amour.
Management hopes the team can sort out there diverences and put an end to the infighting before the new season starts.
Piet Oros said "Being a small team we are waiting for our injured riders to heal, so we can start the new season with a full, well rested squad. If we are still in div. 5 after we return from Columbia we might race the Vestmannaeyjabaer GP on day 88 to get some RS, but it's not finalised yet.
We are looking forward to our first full season on the OCM Tour and would like to become the top ranked South African team."
Seems like a pretty ambitious target for such a young team but I guess time will tell.
